Apparently there is a whole world of people out there who are devoted to their Acura NSX, Honda S2000, Mitsubishi 3000GT, or Dodge Stealth. I met a mechanic who specializes in these makes and models. From a marketing perspective that's good. You want to define your niche as clearly and narrowly as possible. Dan Sharma, owner of Dan's Shop, has done just that. Instead of servicing any and all cars, he specializes not only in Acura and Honda cars, he goes even further by focusing in on these particular models. Smart marketing move.
